MRI Collaboration Networking Event
The MRI kicked off a series of events on Wednesday 2nd November 2016. The event was created to encourage collaboration between Institute members by sharing research interests, and to help academics get to know each other better. The afternoon consisted of 24, 5 minute 'flash talks', about what members can do for each other, and what they are looking for in collaborations.
There were two 60 minute sessions with a coffee break in between, followed by a drinks reception. The date was chosen to coincide with Prof. James Busfield's evening Inaugural Lecture “Remarkable rubber – An insight into the magical world of rubber physics”.
The day was a great success!
