Research Interests

Emiliano Bilotti's research interests lie in the Processing-Structure-Property relationship in polymeric materials. EB has extensive experience in processing and characterisation of polymer nanocomposites and smart polymers. More recently, EB is focusing his research on flexible self-regulating heating devices (pyro-resistive materials) and polymers for energy (organic thermoelectrics). His work has been carried out in collaboration with industrial and academic partners through various EU and UK collaborative projects. EB is author/co-author of over 30 international peer-reviewed papers with a personal h-index of 11.
